New Year's Greeting 2019
Dear Global Sangha,
Writing, "Have a Happy New Year" to you somehow feels inappropriate just now. There is so much confusion and suffering all over this globe!
How could this New Year possibly turn out to be happy?
KWAN SE UM BOSAL!
What will help this New Year? What will make us happy?
Let these questions be our kong-an and let the practice bring us back to our original new year... but wait, it’s not a year! It’s just THIS moment. It never arrived and it never left!
Just knowing that each of you is "out there" practicing is what makes us truly happy.
Enter 2019 with a Great Vow and Great Direction and with unconditional effort, question and faith. Everything is already complete.
